Making your moves

- Play one matching card. An eight is always playable; choose its suit using the suit selector before tapping the card.
- After an eight, match the called suit or play another eight. The eight’s printed suit is not the active suit.
- Draw one card at a time when needed. Drawing does not end your turn; keep drawing or play a legal card.
- The stock is not recycled. With no stock and no legal card, pass. Two consecutive passes end the round in a draw.
- The first empty hand wins. New round deals again.

Take a moment to check the current turn. If 5♣ is on top, you can play another club, another five, or any eight. Calling hearts with an eight makes hearts the active suit. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.
Check this before moving on
Begin with the basic rule, then follow the result of your action. Do not assume that every eight keeps its printed suit. The called suit is shown beside the discard pile. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.
